Stored XSS in Apache Ambari in Microsoft Azure HDInsight before image 2307201242 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts. Ambari stores crafted values in background operations, notifications, queue access controls, or YARN settings and renders them without adequate neutralization. High privileges are required to change these values, and another user must open the affected Ambari view before the script runs.
