Inadequate encryption in Siemens RUGGEDCOM ROX devices before 2.16.0 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read and alter network data. The devices offer weak ciphers by default, permitting intercepted sessions to use encryption that does not adequately protect traffic. Exploitation requires an adjacent network position and user interaction, and it can expose, modify, or disrupt data exchanged with the device.
