Browser script execution via unsanitized admin settings
Published Aug 5, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in WP-Buy WP Content Copy Protection & No Right Click 3.5.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. The admin settings accept values without sufficient sanitization and later render them without adequate output escaping, causing saved payloads to execute when an affected page is viewed. Exploitation requires administrator-level access and affects only multisite installations or installations where unfiltered_html is disabled; executed scripts can read or alter data in a visitor's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
