Improper update-package validation in ProLion CryptoSpike 3.0.15P2 allows attackers to execute OS commands as the root Linux user. The update system accepts forged packages without checking their integrity before processing attacker-controlled contents. Exploitation requires high privileges and yields root-level command execution on the Linux host.
