Improper authentication in ProLion CryptoSpike 3.0.15P2 allows remote attackers to read Kafka data and interrupt service without credentials. The internal streaming system exposes Apache Kafka producer and consumer operations without authenticating clients, permitting direct reads and writes. Network reachability to Kafka is sufficient; crafted writes can deny service, while reads expose potentially sensitive streamed information.
