Browser content spoofing
Published Oct 13, 2023 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
Spoofing in Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) before 118.0.2088.46 allows remote attackers to misrepresent browser content. Microsoft has not disclosed the affected browser UI locus or the operation that mishandles untrusted content. Exploitation requires a user to open specially crafted web content; successful spoofing can expose or alter limited information but does not interrupt service.
