Database exfiltration via unauthenticated export endpoints
Published Oct 3, 2023 · Updated Jun 17, 2025
Exposed dangerous functions in cashIT! 03.A06rks 2023.02.37 and earlier allow remote attackers to download its database over HTTP. The syncdata export endpoint accepts a database name and GETFILE action without authentication, then returns the selected full database. Exploitation requires network reachability to the optionally enabled management interface and discloses settings, user accounts, sales data, and stored credentials.
