Authenticated privilege escalation via delegated-admin attribute provider

Published Feb 1, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

Privilege escalation in Ping Identity PingDirectory 8.3 through 9.3 allows remote authenticated users to gain elevated directory permissions. Ping Identity identifies the Delegated Admin Privilege virtual attribute provider as the locus but has not disclosed which operation incorrectly grants additional permissions.
