Browser-app disruption via unescaped form-field interpolation
Published Jun 27, 2023 · Updated Dec 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in jucktnich Meldekarten Generator before 1.0.0b1.1.2 allows local users to make the browser app unresponsive. The render and printCard routines interpolate saved form values into HTML without escaping quotation marks or less-than signs. Exploitation requires a user to submit crafted text and trigger rendering or printing; published tests achieved interface disruption but no script execution.
