Remote server crash via crafted SQL sequence
Published Jun 22, 2023 · Updated Dec 2, 2024
Denial of service in MonetDB Server 11.45.17 and 11.46.0 allows remote attackers to crash the server via crafted SQL statements. The reproducer builds a schema, table, and trigger before a DELETE reaches SQL optimization and crashes in __nss_database_lookup. NVD reports no prior privileges or user interaction; the invalid operation remains undisclosed, and the bounded impact is a server-wide crash.
