Code execution via unrestricted exported WebView activity
Published Aug 1, 2023 · Updated Oct 17, 2024
Improperly exported activity in Viatom Health ViHealth for Android 2.74.58 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to execute code. web.WebViewActivity accepts an externally supplied web_url extra from any installed app and loads that URL in its WebView without access-control restrictions. Exploitation requires a victim to install a third-party Android app; the app can launch the activity, load attacker-chosen content, and access its data.
