Authenticated code execution via PHP image upload
Published Jun 23, 2023 · Updated Dec 5, 2024
Arbitrary file upload in POS Codekop 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code through the user image endpoint. The gambar=user path in fungsi/edit/edit.php accepts a PHP filename and moves it under assets/img/user after checking only the client-supplied MIME type. Any signed-in user who can update the user image can place and request a web shell, granting command execution with the web server's privileges.
