Privilege escalation via tokenless settings update
Published Jun 23, 2023 · Updated Nov 29, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in POS Codekop 2.0 allows remote attackers to change privileged settings through a victim's session. The settings-update handler at fungsi/edit/edit.php?pengaturan=ubah accepts a state-changing POST without a CSRF token or request-origin validation. An authenticated administrator must visit an attacker-controlled page; the submitted form then rewrites store settings with that administrator's authority.
