DLL search-path hijacking in Diebold Nixdorf Vynamic View Console 5.3.1 and earlier allows local users to execute arbitrary code. The console loads required DLLs from an unrestricted search path without verifying their digital signatures, allowing a planted library to run. Exploitation requires local placement of a malicious DLL and user interaction that launches the affected console; the loaded code can read, alter, or disrupt host resources.
