Integer overflow in LibTomMath before 1.2.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or crash a consuming process. The mp_grow function accepted a negative requested digit count instead of rejecting it, allowing size calculations to wrap before allocation. Exploitation requires a consuming application to pass an attacker-controlled negative size into an affected library operation; the upstream discussion notes that such parameters are not generally attacker-controlled.
