Reflected XSS via PHP_SELF page URLs
Published Aug 8, 2023 · Updated Oct 10, 2024
Reflected XSS in Adiscon LogAnalyzer 4.1.13 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script code through crafted request paths. Affected PHP pages build redirect and page URLs from attacker-controlled PHP_SELF values without safely neutralizing the path before embedding it in HTML. A victim must follow a crafted URL; file-based installations need no login, while database-backed installations require at least a read-only account, and successful exploitation runs script code in the victim's browser.
