Authenticated information disclosure via unchecked bulk reads
Published Dec 18, 2023 · Updated Nov 7, 2025
Improper authorization in Infinispan REST Server allows remote authenticated users to read cache keys and entries beyond their permissions. The keys and entries actions use an internal cluster publisher that omits the BULK_READ permission check. Any authenticated account can invoke the endpoints in versions before 14.0.18.Final and 15.0.0.Dev01 through 15.0.0.Dev03, exposing cache data without reported write access.
