Service interruption via invalid Asset feed save
Published Jan 30, 2024 · Updated Oct 18, 2024
Denial of service in the Craft CMS feed-import plugin 4.6.1 allows remote attackers to interrupt service by saving a crafted Asset feed. The actionSaveFeed function passes an invalid feed model to the save path instead of returning after validation errors, triggering a PHP error when the Asset element type has no volume selected. The CVE is disputed because the referenced upstream commit describes an ordinary PHP-error fix and does not identify a security defect.
