Unauthenticated code execution via unfiltered ASPX upload
Published Jul 11, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Mountain Flood Disaster Prevention Monitoring and Early Warning System 20230706 allows remote attackers to execute code. The ArticleFileIpLoad function reached through /Duty/AjaxHandle/Write/UploadFile.ashx accepts Filedata without filtering its file type and stores an attacker-supplied ASPX page under a web-accessible UploadFile path. The published request reaches the handler without authentication material, and invoking the uploaded ASPX web shell grants code execution in the web server context.
