CVE-2023-36238Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Invoice disclosure via unchecked invoice ownership

Published Mar 13, 2024 · Updated Dec 4, 2024

Authorization bypass in Webkul Bagisto 1.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to read other customers' invoices by changing an invoice ID. The OrderController print method loads the supplied invoice ID and generates its PDF without confirming that the invoice belongs to the signed-in customer. Any customer account can request another valid or guessed invoice ID, exposing that customer's personal and order details; upstream evidence identifies 1.5.1 as fixed.
