Database manipulation via concatenated article identifiers
Published Jul 11, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in IBOS OA 4.5.5 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through the Delete Packet endpoint. The delete action passes the POST-supplied articleids value into deleteByRelateid, where query conditions are concatenated before createDeleteCommand executes SQL. Access to the administration background is required, and successful injection can read or modify application database data.
