CVE-2023-36161

Service interruption via Wi-Fi deauthentication traffic

Published Sep 11, 2023 · Updated Sep 26, 2024

Denial of service in Qubo Smart Plug 10A HSP02_01_01_14_SYSTEM-10A allows physically proximate attackers to interrupt network service. The firmware disconnects the plug from its access point when it processes deauthentication traffic; the published record does not identify the missing frame-validation safeguard. Wi-Fi radio reachability is required, and the lost connectivity prevents network-dependent remote control without reported data disclosure or modification.
