Stored XSS via unsanitized IP Filtering description
Published Jun 30, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Multilaser RE170 firmware 2.2.6733 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser. The IP Filtering page stores the Description value and renders an image element with an onerror handler without neutralizing it. Exploitation requires a logged-in attacker to add the crafted rule and a user to view the stored entry, exposing data and actions available to that browser session.
