Configuration disclosure via unprotected backup endpoint
Published Jun 30, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Authentication bypass in Intelbras SG 2404 MR firmware 1.00.54 allows remote attackers to download its configuration backup. The /cgi-bin/exportCfgwithpasswd endpoint returns the backup without verifying a session, exposing device settings, user names, and hashed passwords. Network access to the management interface is sufficient; published evidence reports disclosure only, not configuration changes or service interruption.
