Authenticated command execution via diagnostic IP input
Published Jun 30, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
OS command injection in MaxPrint ISP Maxlink 1200G 3.4.11E allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The web diagnostic tool passes its IP-address input to a shell command without rejecting the semicolon separator, so text following the separator executes as a second command. Access requires logging in to the router web interface; successful exploitation grants command execution with the diagnostic service privileges.
