Script execution via unencoded preview theme
Published Aug 3, 2023 · Updated Oct 17, 2024
Reflected XSS in preview.php in PHPJabbers Class Scheduling System 1.0 allows remote attackers to run script via the theme parameter. preview.php places the decoded theme value into an HTML attribute without context-appropriate encoding, allowing a quote to terminate the attribute and inject a script element. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted preview URL, after which the script runs in that user's browser context and can read or modify data available to the page.
