Browser script execution via unescaped page parameter
Published Aug 1, 2023 · Updated Oct 17, 2024
Reflected XSS in Faculty Evaluation System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute browser script via the page parameter. The index.php page handler reflects the page query value into an HTML response without neutralizing executable markup. A logged-in attacker must persuade another user to open the crafted request; the script can read or alter data available to that user's browser session.
