Authentication bypass in D-Link DIR-885L firmware 1.02b01 allows remote attackers to gain escalated privileges through phpcgi. D-Link has not published how phpcgi incorrectly authenticates or authorizes crafted requests. Network access to the router web interface is sufficient, and successful exploitation grants elevated privileges on the router.
