Script execution and lockout via stored device title
Published Aug 2, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Stored XSS in the GatesAir Flexiva FAX150 web dashboard allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in other users' browsers. The System Service Settings endpoint accepts an intercepted update containing an unvalidated device-title payload, stores it, and renders it throughout the dashboard. Low-privileged dashboard access is required to plant the payload, and a later dashboard visit triggers it and can lock legitimate users out.
