Database compromise via unfiltered history parameters
Published Sep 1, 2023 · Updated Oct 1, 2024
SQL injection in smanga 3.1.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to read database data via the history-recording endpoint. The php/history/add.php handler places unfiltered mediaId, mangaId, and userId values into an SQL statement, enabling injected expressions such as time delays. The endpoint is reachable without authentication; successful exploitation grants database access and can expose or alter stored data.
