Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Windows PEAP allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via malicious PEAP packets. The PEAP server's packet-processing path writes attacker-controlled data past a heap buffer, but Microsoft has not disclosed the affected function or field. Exposure requires a Windows system configured to act as a PEAP server; successful exploitation can compromise data and interrupt the service.
