Heap buffer overflows in GTKWave 3.3.115 allow attackers to execute arbitrary code via a malicious FST waveform file. In fstReaderIterBlocks2, the FST_BL_VCDATA_DYN_ALIAS2 path fails to bound idx to the allocated chain_table while attacker-controlled chain_mem varints shift the write offset. Opening the file is required, after which out-of-bounds heap writes can corrupt process memory and execute code with the user's privileges.
