Unauthenticated heap overflow via unchecked Content-Length arithmetic
Published Oct 11, 2023 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Heap buffer overflow in Yifan YF325 1.0_20221108 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted HTTP POST request. The httpd manage_post function adds one to an unchecked Content-Length for malloc, allowing the allocation size to wrap before wfread copies the declared body length. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the resulting overwrite corrupts heap memory in the router's web service.
