File overwrite and disclosure via Tar traversal

Path traversal in Gradle Build Tool before 7.6.1 and 8.0 through 8.1.1 allows attackers to overwrite or read files via crafted Tar entries. TarFileTree passed each archive entry name to AbstractArchiveFileTreeElement without ZipSlip.safeZipEntryName validation, allowing parent-directory segments to escape the expansion directory. Exploitation requires control of a Tar archive consumed by a build, modification of the build, control of a remote build-cache server, or a man-in-the-middle position; access remains limited to files the Gradle process can read or write.
