Technical data disclosure via missing MDT authentication
Published Jul 11, 2023 · Updated Nov 8, 2024
Missing authentication in SAP NetWeaver Process Integration Message Display Tool SAP_XIAF 7.50 allows remote attackers to access technical data. Certain MDT functions that require a user identity perform no authentication check before returning product-status and configuration data. No credentials or user interaction are required; exposed data is nonsensitive, administrative functions remain inaccessible, and successful requests can also cause limited service interruption.
