Filesystem enumeration via unchecked directory traversal
Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Path traversal in Modern Campus Omni CMS 2023.1 allows remote attackers to enumerate server filesystem information without authentication. The listing.php and rss.php handlers accept a dir parameter containing traversal sequences and return directory listings outside the web root. No account or user interaction is required; the exposed result is file and directory metadata, with no reported file-content access or modification.
