CVE-2023-35857Network attack vector

Account access via unreleased logout session keys

Published Jun 19, 2023 · Updated Dec 11, 2024

Insufficient session expiration in Siren Investigate before 13.2.2 allows remote attackers to reuse session keys after users log out. The logout path leaves an issued session key active instead of invalidating it when the session ends. Possession of a previously issued key is required and preserves the associated account's access after logout.
