Missing Wi-Fi authentication in SolaX Pocket WiFi 3 through 3.001.02 allows physically proximate attackers to access Modbus services. The device leaves its setup access point active without an encryption key after enrollment and exposes an unauthenticated Modbus interface that accepts standard read and write messages. Radio-frequency proximity is sufficient to read or alter inverter data and configuration, with resulting disruption to normal inverter operation.
