Credential disclosure via retained password after LDAP downgrade

Cleartext credential exposure in YSoft SAFEQ 6 Server before 6.0.82 allows attackers to read LDAP passwords through a rogue server. The LDAP server configuration retains the stored password when an administrator changes its URL scheme from LDAPS to LDAP, then sends that password without transport encryption. Exploitation requires administrator access to make the configuration change and control of the LDAP endpoint; YSoft disputes the security classification.
