Authenticated privilege escalation via arbitrary bean modification

Bean manipulation in affected SugarCRM releases allows remote authenticated users to gain administrator privileges through a crafted REST request. The maps/updateGeocodeStatus endpoint accepts attacker-controlled id, module, fieldName, and status values and writes the selected Sugar Bean field without an authorization or field allowlist. A regular application account and OAuth token are sufficient; the demonstrated request sets the Users bean is_admin field and grants application administrator access.
