Authenticated restricted-data disclosure via permissive directory ACL
Published Jun 27, 2023 · Updated Dec 2, 2024
Insecure permissions in Stormshield Endpoint Security Evolution 2.0.0 through 2.4.2 allow remote authenticated users to read restricted data. The agent-directory ACL grants interactive users read access to log files displayed in the management GUI instead of restricting those files to administrators. A valid interactive account is required, and the demonstrated impact is limited to confidentiality of information stored in the agent logs.
