Improper input validation in Apache Airflow Apache Hive Provider before 6.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. HiveCliHook._prepare_cli_cmd appends the connection's principal value to a Beeline JDBC URL without rejecting semicolons, allowing an injected property to bypass the intended validation. Exploitation requires permission to modify Airflow connection details; the documented consequence is code execution in the Airflow environment.
