Server-side request forgery via unchecked rssurl
Published Jul 10, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Server-side request forgery in DedeCMS 5.7.109 allows remote attackers to make server-originated requests through rssurl. In co_do.php, GetRssLinks passes the attacker-controlled URL through OpenUrl, whose PrivateInit processing parses it and initiates the fetch. No authentication or user interaction is required; the request can reach resources accessible to the DedeCMS server, while further impact depends on those resources.
