Browser script execution via unsanitized SNMP input
Published Jun 23, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Progress WhatsUp Gold before 23.0.0 allows remote attackers to run JavaScript in a victim's browser. An SNMP-related application endpoint places attacker-controlled input into a generated page without adequate sanitization; public sources do not identify the endpoint or parameter. Exploitation requires a victim to load the crafted content and permits script execution in that user's browser context.
