CVE-2023-35719Public exploit

SYSTEM code execution via unauthenticated GINA responses

Published Sep 6, 2023 · Updated Sep 26, 2024

Authentication bypass in the GINA Client of Zoho ADSelfService Plus 6.1 Build 6122 allows physically proximate attackers to run code as SYSTEM. The Password Reset Portal accepts unauthenticated HTTP responses into its privileged embedded browser, where crafted JavaScript exposes a file picker that launches executables. Physical access to a Windows login screen and a spoofable server connection are required; ManageEngine disputes the flaw and states that properly configured TLS prevents it.
