Out-of-bounds read in Ashlar-Vellum Cobalt 12 beta build 1204.60 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted AR file. The AR file parser fails to validate user-supplied data against the allocated buffer and reads past its end. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open the file, and successful execution runs code in the current process.
