Sensitive-information disclosure via unauthenticated log download
Published Jun 26, 2023 · Updated Dec 5, 2024
Information disclosure in Trend Micro Mobile Security for Enterprise 9.8 SP5 allows remote attackers to download a sensitive log file. The /mdm/cgi/log/web_service.log endpoint serves web_service.log without authentication; under non-default DEBUG logging, it records console login credentials. No account is required, but console credentials are exposed only when DEBUG logging causes request bodies to be written to the log.
