Local privilege escalation in Google Android 11, 12, 12L, and 13 allows local users to start arbitrary components via a crafted legacy shortcut. PackageManagerHelper.hasPermissionForActivity resolves permission on the chooser instead of its wrapped intent, allowing the unchecked inner intent to pass. Exploitation requires user interaction and uses Launcher as a confused deputy to start a component beyond the source application's permissions.
