CVE-2023-3565Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Browser script execution via unsanitized settings values

Published Jul 8, 2023 · Updated Oct 30, 2024

Cross-site scripting in Teampass before 3.0.10 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. Administrative numeric settings accept arbitrary text, and the session-extension path passes the warningModal-input value to IncreaseSessionTime without DOMPurify sanitization. High-privilege access and user interaction are required; successful exploitation exposes data and actions available to the victim's browser session.
