Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Windows Internet Connection Sharing allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted DHCPv6 messages. The ICS service trusts a modified option-length field in a DHCPV6_MESSAGE_INFORMATION_REQUEST and writes beyond a heap buffer. The service must be running, and the attacker must share the same network segment; successful exploitation runs code on the ICS host.
